About

Oh Pray Tell is a Kootenay, BC based trio –sally titasey, shayna-adjowa jones, and betty supple– blending roots, gospel, acoustic R&B, folk, and experimental folklore. Their soulful alchemy weaves storytelling, spoken word, and three-part harmonies into a powerful, immersive experience. They speak to the times with honesty, confronting hard topics while holding listeners gently, wrapping them in rich, satisfying harmonies that offer comfort, resonance and connection.

betty supple and sally titasey have been in relationship since they were teens. Music-making was an integral part of their connection. In 2015 they took on the name Oh Pray Tell and began as a stomp/clap/harmony duo. Their project lived as a labor of love for many years until… In 2021, shayna-adjowa jones, a multi-disciplinary Spoken Word artist, discovered their work and reached out with excitement to collaborate.

The trio met for the first time in June 2021 at the Langham Theatre in Kaslo, BC for a day of collaborative exploration. The alchemy was obvious and immediate and led to a three-day residency, culminating in a sold-out show at the theatre just a few months later. In January 2024, shayna officially joined Oh Pray Tell!

The trio released their first EP in February 2026 and are actively recording their debut full-length album, set to release in February 2027. Since their formation as a trio they have played dozens of shows across the province. Highlights include opening four shows with the 2026 Juno award nominee PIQSIQ;  performance for the 30,000+ Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival; and playing to sold-out shows and standing ovations in multiple venues across the province including Key City Theatre (Cranbrook); Pacific Theatre (Vancouver); and Golden Civic Theatre (Golden).
